Colorado Elk Rifle Hunting – Refilling The Freezer!

November 2, 2019

I look forward to hunting elk here in the Rocky Mountains all year long. I’ve hunted archery, muzzleloader, and most of the rifle seasons over the years. I’ve hunted the 1st limited elk only rifle exclusively for the past 8 years or more. I’ve found it to be my best opportunity to bring home meat to fill the freezer.

I prep for months, lifting weights and walking on the treadmill. Elk hunting brings out lots of emotions with me from excitement to depression and from elation to fear. The mountain can do that to you!

Praise God as this year, I once again filled the freezer when I harvested a cow elk.

Gone are the days of me trying to be an aspiring hunting star. I’m just a guy who really likes elk hunting in the mountains. I brought a small camera with me this year, and captured as much as I could.

I hope you enjoy the video.

Thanks & God bless 🙂
