The opening day of our November duck and goose season was yesterday morning and we headed out to a pond we have permission on in search of geese and wood ducks. I had scouted quite a few birds on the pond the previous day so hopes were running high as I put the pond to bed in the evening. The morning didn’t go exactly to plan and we had some trouble getting quality shot opportunities on the woodies , but overall it was a fun and rewarding hunt!

This was by far the funnest Duck Hunt of the Nebraska Trip. From shooting 4 limits of ducks to falling in the pond, eating cinnamon rolls with chili, watching the dog work, to having good laughs, this was definitely an Awesome way to end this trip! (13,224)
